Youth Nonprofit Hosts Successful Gardening Workshop with Local Farmer

The "G" in G.I.R.L. stands for GROW! The Board Members of Win Like A G.I.R.L. nonprofit hosted its first event on gardening led by local farmers in Proctor, Arkansas. The youth learned historical facts about Africa, juiced various fruit juices, learned the difference between fruits and vegetables, and even picked vegetables from a local greenhouse. The event was led by community agriculture expert and farmer, Elzadia Washington. Way to GROW, Girls!
